It’s lovely to see that Kingfishers are back again to brighten up our days here at Widewater this autumn. I am very fortunate to live in one of the houses which back onto the lagoon and the beautiful birds regularly sit on mine and many other garden walls as well as the Tamarisk bushes east of the footbridge.

I have lived here for about 6 years and from my experience, Kingfishers can be spotted in this area between September and February.
