Over the last few weeks, the Environment Agency contractors have been working very hard on this project. It is now nearing completion and a couple of days ago they were turning the valve on. The Site Foreman told us that they are waiting for the last few timbers to be delivered and fitted and they should hopefully be finished before the end of this week.

Tide heights reduce this week and are going going into neaps, so the tides may not be high enough for another couple of weeks. Please don’t worry if no water comes through into the lagoon during this period.
