At the end of August 2024 a team of volunteers from Virgin media visited Widewater and did an excellent job on behalf of the community in clearing the area by the booth which had become very overgrown.

In very hot weather they also did a fantastic job in clearing out the inlet channel where water flows into the lagoon from the sea during high tides.

A huge thank you to the guys from Virgin media for their hard work and they did a brilliant job.
