A great turn out on 29th October 2022 for the Widewater Litter Pick. We collected 16 bags of rubbish from around the lagoon, much of it blown about in the recent storms. We noticed less litter than in previous picks and are heartened that many people are kindly using the bins or taking their litter home. Thank you.

Prizes were given to our brilliant younger generation litter pickers who joined in today and did a great job! The prize for the most unusual item found went to a volunteer who found a mobile phone!

Huge thanks to Wow member, Ian Brereton for organising the event and equipment for us which is kindly loaned by Adur and Worthing Councils. Thank you all, for coming today to help keep our nature reserve clean and tidy.
