It was a terrific turnout for the litter pick on Saturday 22 May despite the weather. 22 bags of rubbish were collected.
A big thank you to everyone who helped on the day and for those that are always looking after the lagoon day in and day out. A special thank you to Ian Brereton who has organised our litter picks for several years and to Mark Quartly of Adur Council who kindly lends us the equipment.
The most unusual thing found was a selection of clothes, a tennis ball and the remains of a fish.
The next litter pick will be advertised soon.
Here is a photo of what was found by Phil as he investigated through the branches of a bush. The rubbish filled a whole bag.
