WSCC plan to replace the footbridge across Widewater this September 2019. Works will last for approximately 2 months.
The new bridge and works will provide easy access for all; will blend in sensitively with the nature reserve and will be installed with mindful consideration of the flora and fauna.
You are invited to suggest a colour for the new fence across the bridge. The main criteria is that it is in keeping with a nature reserve and that it is visible for the birds, particularly the Swans, who fly over it.
Please let us know of your suggestion by 31st May 2019.
