{"id":1148,"date":"2018-10-18T15:55:41","date_gmt":"2018-10-18T14:55:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lancingwidewater.com\/?p=1148"},"modified":"2018-10-18T15:58:11","modified_gmt":"2018-10-18T14:58:11","slug":"bugs-the-little-friends-of-shoreham-beach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lancingwidewater.com\/?p=1148","title":{"rendered":"Bugs: The Little Friends of Shoreham Beach"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<blockquote>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<h6>\u00a0An invitation to WOW\u00a0 and anyone interested<\/h6>\n<h6>Friday 23rd November 2019<\/h6>\n<p>Graeme Lyons, ecologist, has done the first thorough survey of the invertebrates on the Shoreham Beach LNR which is one of the best areas of vegetated shingle in the county.<\/p><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The survey was organised by the Friends of Shoreham Beach LNR (FoSB) and sponsored by the Rampion Fund at Sussex Community Foundation and Tesco bags.<\/p>\n<p>He will speak about his survey and how the tiny invertebrates that live on the beach are vital to its health. The survey was full of surprises and included a plant bug never before recorded in West Sussex.
