The Golden Hour at Widewater

In photography, a short period of time prior to sunset is known as the golden hour. During this time, the daylight is redder and softer than when the sun is higher in the sky. These photos of Stonechats were all taken on 14th November west of the footbridge at Widewater during the so called golden hour and the light at this time certainly enhanced the colours of the birds.
