Widewater visiting swan injured this afternoon on the lagoon is now safe and sound at the Swan sanctuary. Probably has a broken bone in her foot which should heal naturally with rest. She will have an x ray later. Hopefully I’ll be able to bring her back when she’s recovered but I’ll release her on the river not at the lagoon where she’s in danger of attack by the resident pair.
